Hi, my name is Benjamin Hughes aka Survival Gear Hero. I'm a Vietnam vet and all-around lover of the outdoors. My father was an avid outdoorsman and I grew up camping, hunting, and fishing. This and my time spent in the army has taught me the value of having quality survival gear.
